The TB250-2 is Takeuchi’s newest excavator in the 5 ton weight class filling the space between the current TB240 and TB260 models. It has an operating weight of 10,957 lbs. (canopy) to 11,288 lbs. (cab), a dig depth of 12’ 4.8” and max reach of over 20’. Its 39 hp engine is Tier 4 final meeting all current EPA emissions regulations and provides outstanding access to all daily service points. The TB250-2 will come equipped with a primary auxiliary circuit capable of 24.2 gpm of flow making it an outstanding platform for many different hydraulic attachments.

With its narrow width the TB230 is able to work on job sites with limited accessibility, and the conventional tail swing design provides excellent stability and greater operator space. The control valve and hydraulic components are now conveniently located under the right side cover for improved accessibility.

Designed to work in confined, demanding applications, the Takeuchi TB225 features many advancements in performance and technology that make it an extremely versatile and productive machine. The TB225 sets itself apart by combining features from smaller excavators, such as hydraulically retractable undercarriage, with features from larger excavators, such as electronic throttle control and electronic proportional auxiliary control. All-day comfort is provided by an adjustable suspension seat, large floor with integrated footrests, ergonomically designed pilot controls, and adjustable arm rests.

The compact size and dual power capabilities of the Takeuchi TB216H allows it to work in a wide range of applications that may have limited accessibility, noise and clean air requirements. It is ideal for plumbing, landscaping, utility installation, interior demolition, and rental applications. Performance is identical between the diesel engine and electric motor, and the controls are the same regardless of operating mode.

TB216 provides the operator with a nice blend of power and functionality. It is completely redesigned for greater operator comfort, performance, and serviceability.

The TB210R delivers excellent performance in an ultra compact design. It has an impressive feature set that includes pattern change valve, pilot controls, retractable undercarriage, minimum tail swing, and a two post ROPS foldable frame. It is the ideal excavator for the most confined applications.

As Takeuchi looks to the future and how we can be better stewards of the environment, we have once again tapped into our spirit of creation and innovation and developed the all-electric TB20e compact hydraulic excavator. The beauty of the TB20e is that it is a zero emission and low noise level compact excavator with the same performance features and capabilities as diesel powered machines in the same class.

It is ideal for use in areas that have both noise and emissions restrictions such as in and around schools, neighborhoods, hospitals, and municipalities. An onboard charger is able to not only charge the machine during breaks and at the end of the workday, it also allows the operator to work while tethered. Also available is an offboard charger that can be used to charge the TB20e in a relatively short amount of time. The TB20e is work ready and demonstrates its Takeuchi pedigree through and through whether it be its rugged all steel construction and heavy-duty design, standard long arm with thumb bracket, or the retractable undercarriage which enables the TB20e to work in confined areas and pass through openings as narrow as 38.6”.
