What’s the difference between a curing compound and a cure and seal?
A curing compound holds moisture in fresh concrete so the cement hydrates and the slab gains its designed strength. A cure and seal does the same thing but also leaves a membrane behind that keeps repelling water once the slab is in service. On exterior flatwork, most contractors use a cure and seal so one application covers both.

When can you apply cure and seal to a fresh pour?
You can apply cure and seal products to fresh concrete pours after finishing is complete and the surface water has evaporated.
