An Account Manager of Construction Equipment Sales is responsible for:

Providing value based, customer-centric expertise in the promotion of McCann Industries’ products and services at such a high level of integrity and professionalism that it will justify, in the eyes of the customer, that McCann Industries becomes their first choice for heavy equipment and supporting services, every time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sales territory and demonstrate an ability to close
  • Excel at building strong customer relationships
  • Work in a team environment and conduct side-by-side comparisons of equipment
  • Capitalize on growth opportunities with the promotion of our construction equipment lines including the full line of Case Construction equipment
  • Locate new prospects, determine their needs and be able to present and close the sale

An Account Manager for Construction Supply Sales is responsible for:

Providing value based, customer-centric expertise in the promotion of McCann Industries’ products and services at such a high level of integrity and professionalism that it will justify, in the eyes of the customer, that McCann Industries becomes their first choice for all construction products and supplies, every time.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage contractors at all levels including: owners, project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with purchasing authority.
  • Grow established current accounts as well as “hunting” for new customers.
  • Travel within assigned territories, calling on customers, maintaining communications while soliciting orders and acquiring feedback from customers
  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for obtained orders
  • Estimate delivery dates and deliver product personally whenever possible and investigate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Primary product focus includes sale of the Company’s materials, tools and supplies and rental of the Company’s light equipment and forming equipment.
  • Promotion of all of the Company’s products and services by working as a team with other Account managers as required.

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for:

Driving established sales initiatives and programs through the Inside Sales Department to better serve our internal and external customers. Aid in the training of other associates and departments by sharing technical product expertise of the Inside Sales Department. Increase the level of customer service satisfaction by providing the best customer service possible by increasing the ease of order processing for internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain loyal and lasting customer relationships
  • Handle technical and business questions of prospective and current customers
  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for orders obtained
  • Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services
  • Provide product demonstrations to qualified customers on request
  • Estimate delivery dates to customers based on knowledge of company’s production and schedule
  • Enter new customer’s data and other sales data for current customers into database
  • Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date

Location(s): Addison, Corporate Team

A Driver is responsible for:

Delivering construction equipment, materials and supplies to job sites, McCann branch locations and customers in a safe and efficient manner. To assist branch operations in the warehouse, sales, customer service and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify load against shipping papers, pick material and load truck in the assigned, appropriate order of delivery
  • Communicate with branch manager and other staff members to effect minimal errors
  • Participate in cross training for fulfillment of warehousing duties
  • Deliver branch transfers of materials ensuring smooth movement with minimal disruption
  • Demonstrate to customers safe operation of rental equipment at job site
  • Collect payment for material and equipment delivered and for delivery charges when necessary
  • Adhere to federal regulations regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials and vehicle log(s)
  • ***CDL license is required***

A Customer Service Representative is responsible for:
Efficient handling and control of customers’ needs for construction supplies, parts, and equipment including proper inventory, record keeping, delivery, reporting, and rentals as well as other duties as specified by Regional Manager or Branch Manager.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all incoming counter and phone sales and product inquiries
    Quoting prices, and preparing sales and rental orders
  • Handle cash transactions; handle deposits on daily cash transactions
  • Qualify sales leads and coordinate with the appropriate sales department for follow up; participate in field calls with outside sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction, perform telemarketing
  • Handle customer complaints in a personal manner, reports any condition which may need further company attention
  • Prioritize customer needs through dispatch of deliveries, maintain commitments to customers regarding timely deliveries

A Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for:
Maintenance, repairs and rebuilding components on construction equipment at company shops in a safe, efficient and capable manner.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep current of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the company
  • Report each job at the end of the shift as to repairs completed, repairs remaining with an approximate time frame to complete, parts on back order, problems encountered and any additional repairs found
  • Advise supervisor as to any additional repairs needed using the mechanics repair estimate
  • Keep immediate shop area clean and orderly and report any hazards that may affect safe working conditions
  • Stay informed regarding machine parts in warranty so the removed parts can be tagged and retained for warranty
  • Notify the Service Manager or Shop Foreman when a tool needs repairing or constitutes a hazard
  • Maintain the appropriate company image of dedicated service
