A Technical Sales Rep is responsible for:

Providing technical support to customers and fellow McCann associates, as well as managing and growing accounts through expert customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical product support to customers and fellow McCann associates.
  • Issue purchase orders while coordinating with customers, AM, and operations.
  • Handle escalated customer service situations. Investigate and resolve customer problems.
  • Make regular outbound sales calls to assigned accounts and document in our CRM.
  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for confirmed orders.
  • Qualify leads and follow up with quotes via phone and/or email to both potential and existing customers.
  • Estimate delivery dates to customers based on knowledge of company’s production and delivery schedules; liaise with customers and operations.
  • Work in tandem with Account Managers to build customer relationships and fulfill customer needs.
  • Serve an inside counterpart to assigned Account Manager, providing concierge customer service to top accounts.
  • Utilize CRM for project management by creating and maintaining high-value opportunities.
  • Work with assigned AM to establish and optimize strategic pricing matrices.

An Account Manager of Construction Equipment Sales is responsible for:

Providing value based, customer-centric expertise in the promotion of McCann Industries’ products and services at such a high level of integrity and professionalism that it will justify, in the eyes of the customer, that McCann Industries becomes their first choice for heavy equipment and supporting services, every time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sales territory and demonstrate an ability to close
  • Excel at building strong customer relationships
  • Work in a team environment and conduct side-by-side comparisons of equipment
  • Capitalize on growth opportunities with the promotion of our construction equipment lines including the full line of Case Construction equipment
  • Locate new prospects, determine their needs and be able to present and close the sale

A Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for:

Promoting incremental product support sales through a defined territory and Account Management while pursuing and closing identified opportunities. All while maintaining the highest level of customer service satisfaction.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform “After Sale” follow up on units sold to include machine overview while building relationships. Provide customer with contact information for aftermarket sales opportunities and future warranty extensions and support.
  • Solicit service work by selling machine inspections, developing repair quotes, customized maintenance inspection programs and service scheduling in conjunction with Service Managers at the Branch locations.
  • Promote parts sales to all customers. Offer parts packages for on location stock programs including filter sales, hardware, hoses, couplings, lubricants, repair parts, telematics and any other parts that may be needed by the customer. Actively pursue wear parts sales. Inform customers of our parts and component inventories.
  • Follow up on select repairs coming out of the service shop within one week of return to the customer. Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Anticipate customer equipment needs and refer them to the appropriate sales person. Be sure to enter leads/opportunities into CRM software to notify Sales Manager, Account Manager and Product Support Manager.

An Account Manager for Construction Supply Sales is responsible for:

Providing value based, customer-centric expertise in the promotion of McCann Industries’ products and services at such a high level of integrity and professionalism that it will justify, in the eyes of the customer, that McCann Industries becomes their first choice for all construction products and supplies, every time.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage contractors at all levels including: owners, project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with purchasing authority.
  • Grow established current accounts as well as “hunting” for new customers.
  • Travel within assigned territories, calling on customers, maintaining communications while soliciting orders and acquiring feedback from customers
  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for obtained orders
  • Estimate delivery dates and deliver product personally whenever possible and investigate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Primary product focus includes sale of the Company’s materials, tools and supplies and rental of the Company’s light equipment and forming equipment.
  • Promotion of all of the Company’s products and services by working as a team with other Account managers as required.

A Customer Service Representative is responsible for:
Efficient handling and control of customers’ needs for construction supplies, parts, and equipment including proper inventory, record keeping, delivery, reporting, and rentals as well as other duties as specified by Regional Manager or Branch Manager.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all incoming counter and phone sales and product inquiries
    Quoting prices, and preparing sales and rental orders
  • Handle cash transactions; handle deposits on daily cash transactions
  • Qualify sales leads and coordinate with the appropriate sales department for follow up; participate in field calls with outside sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction, perform telemarketing
  • Handle customer complaints in a personal manner, reports any condition which may need further company attention
  • Prioritize customer needs through dispatch of deliveries, maintain commitments to customers regarding timely deliveries

A Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for:
Maintenance, repairs and rebuilding components on construction equipment at company shops in a safe, efficient and capable manner.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep current of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the company
  • Report each job at the end of the shift as to repairs completed, repairs remaining with an approximate time frame to complete, parts on back order, problems encountered and any additional repairs found
  • Advise supervisor as to any additional repairs needed using the mechanics repair estimate
  • Keep immediate shop area clean and orderly and report any hazards that may affect safe working conditions
  • Stay informed regarding machine parts in warranty so the removed parts can be tagged and retained for warranty
  • Notify the Service Manager or Shop Foreman when a tool needs repairing or constitutes a hazard
  • Maintain the appropriate company image of dedicated service
