Ruiz Construction
Type of Project: Concrete, roadwork and industrial jobs
Ruiz Construction had used Bobcats since opening its doors more than 25 years ago. When it recently came time to make a new track loader purchase, however, they decided to switch to Case.
“There’s definitely a difference,” said Project Manager Jon Ruiz. “The drive train was a big deal. Case’s was far superior to the Bobcat. I like the whole feel of the Case truck loader a lot better, and Case had more options that come as standard, instead of requiring upgrades.”
In their business, concrete breaking is a big deal. That’s why they were pleasantly surprised when they noticed a big improvement with the Case machine.
“The jackhammer works really well; it has a lot more power than the Bobcat that we’re used to. As soon as we switched over, it ripped,” said Ruiz. He also praised the higher reach, interior cab features and overall aesthetics.
Why McCann
The company has been purchasing parts and supplies from McCann for more than years, and Ruiz says having that prior relationship made a difference.
"We knew more about McCann. We didn't just go into the purchase blind. We've always known they were a good company, and every single salesman we’ve worked with has always been top-notch. Steve Costello was great at making us feel important—it didn't matter if it was a big or small sale. He walked us through everything and couldn't have made it more comfortable,” said Ruiz.
